Cleaning up Africa's largest slum

An inspiring story of one young man: nineteen-year-old David Were lives in Africa's largest slum where polluted water, disease and safety are daily concerns. He tells his story in his own words.

  1. What is the Kenyan Government & other community members doing to make sure a place like this is kept clean? Poverty is one thing but living in an unsanitary place is totally unacceptable. We shouldn't expect the Government to clean our yards & toilets but it should at least provide support as well as equipments for the poor family. Every country needs health people to build their nations.
